Daily Accountability:
Actual activity which takes place on any given day is archived in their WIDT section or "What I did today section". In this daily log students have an opportunity to provide a lot of right answers. The key is to front load priority expectations.
On a day a student may be away from the classroom they are asked to:
- Verify they have checked into the daily parameters [EXAMPLE https://engr1.mrsmoore.org/lesson-plans/spring-wk4-monday/ and hyper link the classroom expectations to verify they know what content they may have missed.
- Share a plan to get caught up
- Optional: The student may choose to share why they were away. Often this will help in building a stronger relationship with the student
Keep things positive. "Each day you get to share out all the great thing you are working on!"
